Data by V-Dem. Expert estimates of the extent to which high-ranking members of the executive, such as the head of government or cabinet ministers, engage in bribery and theft. The index ranges from 0 to 1 (highly corrupt).

Executive Corruption Index is currently reported for 173 countries. The highest value is 0.979 in Venezuela; the lowest is 0.003 in Denmark.
The median across all reporting countries is 0.501, and the mean is 0.4619.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 326.
Over the past decade 73 countries rose and 90 fell. The largest increase was in United States (up 388.9%), and the largest decrease in Moldova (down 89.4%).
